The Malden Redevelopment Authority (MRA) is selling vacant land in Malden at the Melrose line located at 964 Main Street (6,179 sf) and 968 Main Street (6,212 sf), permitted for two single-family homes, and 974-1000 Main Street (25,471 sf), permitted for a six-unit townhouse development. The sites have been cleared for redevelopment and construction must be according to concept plans on file with the MRA. The MRA has special permits from the Malden Planning Board for 974-1000 Main Street. The MRA is in the process of getting the variance extended from the Malden Board of Appeal for 964 and 968 Main Street.
The parcels are available for purchase as one package or a buyer may elect to purchase either 964 and 968 Main Street (not available separately) or 974-1000 Main Street. Properties to be sold “as is”.

Responses to the Invitation to Bid are due at the MRA, 17 Pleasant Street, 3rd Floor, Malden, MA 02148 no later than 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 31, 2017. Late bids will be rejected.
