Outgoing Medford Mayor Stephanie Burke was honored for her 17 years of service to the Mystic Valley Development Commission (MVDC). The MVDC oversees the River's Edge development at the Malden Medford line. Presenting a framed photograph of River's Edge was Malden Mayor Gary Christenson. The Malden Redevelopment Authority is the project manager for the development which transformed a former brownfield site into a mixed-use development.
