MRA Opens Filed General Bids for CBD Parking Garage 2021 Concrete Repairs and Waterproofing Project

The Malden Redevelopment Authority (MRA) opened filed General Bids Thursday, March 4, 2021 for waterproofing, damp-proofing and caulking; resilient floors;  and painting for the CBD Parking Garage 2021 Concrete Repairs and Waterproofing Project, 170 Centre Street, Malden. The bid opening took place at 2 p.m. and was conducted via zoom.

 

The work of this project includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the design and installation of temporary shoring to support existing structural elements throughout the work; repair of broken post-tension tendons in the ramp from Level 1 to Level 2; partial and full-depth concrete repairs at the topside and underside of the post-tensioned ramp from Level 1 to Level 2 and the entire helix exit ramp; installation vehicular-traffic-bearing waterproofing membranes; routing and sealing of cracks; replacement of sealant joints; concrete repairs at curbs and barrier walls; topside and underside concrete repairs at stairs and stair landings; replacement of resilient flooring and stair treads in stair towers; cleaning and painting of select steel framing and connections; traffic markings; and other related appurtenant and incidental work all as described in the Contract Documents.

 

Filed General Bids were received at the office of the MRA, Malden City Hall, 215 Pleasant Street, 3rd Floor, Malden, Massachusetts 02148.

 

The filed General Bids received have been tabulated and can be viewed below.  The filed General Bids have been taken under review by the MRA and its agents.  Upon completion of the review, a filed General Bids Tabulation Sheet will be issued to all persons on record as receiving the Bid Documents.
