MRA Seeking Contractors for Lead Hazard Control and Housing Rehabilitation Program

The MRA is seeking qualified construction contractor firms to provide lead paint abatement services in conjunction with its Federally-funded Lead-Based Paint Hazard Control Grant and Housing Rehabilitation Program. 

Construction contractor firms must have proper licenses, construction expertise, a thorough knowledge and understanding of state and local building codes, an understanding of containment procedures and lead inspection/risk assessment reports, adequate liability and workers compensation insurance coverage and must be registered on SAM.gov.  SAM (System for Award Management) registration is required to work with government agencies that receive Federal grants.  The MRA can assist interested contractors with the registration process.   For more information regarding qualifications, please call 781-397-1940 or visit the MRA Healthy Homes Office, 176 Pearl Street, Malden.

The MRA specializes in Lead and Rehab projects servicing low income residents of the City of Malden.  The MRA will work with qualified contractors to provide personalized, individual service through final completion of the project.
