Request for Proposals Homeowner Project Legal Services for the North Suburban Consortium

The Malden Redevelopment Authority (MRA), lead agency for the North Suburban Consortium (NSC) requests proposals from qualified law firms for counsel and legal services associated with administration of the homeowner rehabilitation and homebuyer portion of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HOME Investments Partnership Program.  The NSC administers Federal funding under the HOME Program that focuses exclusively on supporting the development and preservation of affordable housing in the eight NSC communities (Arlington, Chelsea, Everett, Malden, Medford, Melrose, Revere and Winthrop). 

A Request for Proposals (RFP) is available and must be requested via email to with “RFP for NSC Homeowner Project Legal Services" listed in the subject line. The RFP includes scope of services, how to submit questions regarding the RFP, proposal requirements, instructions on proposal submission, proposal submission deadline, information regarding evaluation criteria, etc. 

Proposals must be received by 4:00 PM Tuesday, November 10, 2020. Proposals received later than date/time specified will not be considered.

The MRA/NSC reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals, to waive minor irregularities and technicalities and to request resubmission.
